Review of my experiences at the Landmark Forum
This post has an excellent and relevant summary about what you learn at Landmark Education: http://articles.care247.com/article.php?action=print&n=1322 …and I don’t feel a need to rehash it.
Landmark covered a lot of concepts that I’m already familiar with, but the 5-day immersion really allowed me to understand them in a new light.
The biggest benefit I got out of the course was that I was able to see how I really have a habit of pushing people away by acting in adverse ways. The experiences in the Forum, combined with some advice from an anonymous friend of mine who may choose to reveal himself with a comment, I have been able to act with more situationally appropriate behavior, in certain social situations, which has been a challenge for me in the past. As a result of this, I feel more at home in my environments and “blending in socially”, as Tony Hsieh so correctly observes in Delivering Happiness (see my review here), is one of the most excellent experiences available to a human being.
I have already signed up for the Advanced Course, and once I settle down in a new city (I’m leaving NYC, more on that in a future blog post) I will start taking the free 10-week seminar that comes with the Landmark Forum.
Please ask any questions that you might have in the comments and I will do my best to address them to the best of my abilities. If you want to sign up for Landmark Forum, you can do so at their website http://www.LandmarkEducation.com. I would encourage you to do so.
